Evening Document Specialist
Key Responsibilities
- Create / edit and troubleshoot documents involving complicated formatting or styles
- Format and apply styles to converted precedents
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations
- Assist lawyers / clients with closings or other time-sensitive matters, as required
- Act as primary contact for lawyers and / or staff requesting assistance from the Legal Support Services team
- Answer Document Support helpline, monitor inboxes for work and provide primary document support
- Produce high-quality work and maintain updated technical skills
- Provide overflow assistance for firm documents, including edits, copy typing, dicta transcribing, black lining and specialized printing
- Assist with all administrative and general office matters relating to booking of appointments, travel, boardrooms and maintenance of contact lists in the firm’s InterAction database
- Provide overflow support on special projects or situations, when required.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a legal administrative roleHigh level of professionalism, the ability to take initiative, be proactive and use discretionExcellent knowledge of Adobe and Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPointMOS certification preferredExcellent client-service skillsAbility to produce documents in a timely and accurate manner, in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenOutstanding administrative, organizational and decision-making skillsData entry expertise, with strong attention to detailOutstanding troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExperience in a flexible, team-oriented environmentTagged as : Document Mangement, document specialist
