Bilingual Family Law Clerk
Interested in specializing in Family Law ? Here's your chance! Our client seeks a Bilingual Law Clerk with over 2 years of experience in both English and French .
This full-time hybrid position is dedicated to Family Law and Mediation practice.
Salary range : Flexible, based on experience
About you
To succeed in this role, you will need :
- 2+ years of experience as a Law Clerk
- Law Clerk diploma or equivalent degree in a related field
- Strong communication skills in English and French (required)
- Solid understanding of Family Law rules and court filing processes
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and client service skills
About the role
If hired, you will :
- Open, manage and organize client files
- Prepare correspondence, legal documents, financial statements, and court pleadings (arranging service and filling)
- Complete all documents for uncontested divorces
- Manage team members' calendars and schedules
- Maintain daily contact with clients, other counsel, and court officials
- Address client inquiries and schedule appointments
