Job description

The Program Lead will work closely with the Executive Director to ensure the seamless execution of our programs and day-to-day operations. This role involves coordinating customer projects, managing schedules, and ensuring program protocols are met. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of house construction or building science, strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate daily logistics related to customer projects, ensuring all requirements are met for the program.Serve as a point of contact for homeowners, providing clear and professional communication about project timelines, processes, and expectations.Develop and maintain schedules for energy advisor and subcontractor appointments.Collaborate with the Executive Director to address logistical challenges and optimize workflows.Support program delivery by adhering to company and project management protocols.Maintain accurate records of project progress, customer interactions, and scheduling updates.Demonstrate initiative by learning new tasks, assuming additional responsibilities, and adapting to program changes.Provide insights and feedback to improve program processes and customer satisfaction.QualificationsBasic knowledge of house construction and / or building science. Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g., construction, building science, project management) is an asset.Previous experience in project coordination, customer service, or a similar role.Strong organizational and scheduling skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Proficiency with basic computer applications, including scheduling software and spreadsheets.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing a positive customer experience.Familiarity with Nova Scotia's geography is an asset.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while taking initiative to drive tasks to completion.Willingness to learn and grow within the role, taking on additional responsibilities as needed.Knowledge of Hot2000 energy advisor software is an asset.SkillsCommunication, Excellent interpersonal skills, Microsoft Office, Project ManagementArrayAbout AmeriSpecAmeriSpec is a small but dynamic company specializing in home energy assessments and inspections for new construction and existing homes.
