Overview : Lead the Oracle HCM Payroll implementation as part of the overall Oracle HCM Core HR, Payroll, and Talent Management modules rollout over the next 12 months.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

Plan and facilitate requirements documentation, testing and reconciliation of Oracle HCM- Payroll module.
Partner with internal DDSB business leads and implementation partner to validate the Oracle HCM Payroll module configuration, according to the specified business requirements.
Manage both internal and external stakeholders through frequent communication and cadence meetings, ensuring alignment on project progress and goals.
Manage dependencies for related Oracle HCM workstreams, such as Core HR, Talent Management, Benefits, Onboarding, and Compensation.
Work with the reporting team to ensure that all Payroll-related reports are aligned with business specifications within the Oracle HCM configuration.
Collaborate with testing teams to design and execute test strategies for the Oracle HCM Payroll module in line with overall project plan.
Lead payroll testing by executing unit and reconciliation test with help of internal and System integrators (SI) partner.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with Payroll workstreams and the broader Oracle HCM implementation project.
Promote and implement Oracle best practices for configuration and business process optimization across the platform.
Education :
Completion of a post-secondary university degree in a related discipline or a combination of education, training and experience deemed to be equivalent.
Qualifications :
At least 5 years of experience managing payroll for a large and complex organization, including handling multiple pay groups, unionized workforces, time processing, and system integrations.
Experience with at least 2-3 implementations of a Tier 1 payroll system (such as SAP, Oracle, UKG, Workday, Ceridian, ADP, etc.).
Experience running Oracle HCM payroll or implementing Oracle HCM Payroll will be considered as an asset.
Demonstrated experience leading large-scale business process transformations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to deliver compelling presentations to stakeholders.
Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams with a focus on prioritizing and delegating tasks.
Strong leadership skills and familiarity with industry best practices and methodologies for system implementations.
Skilled in facilitating workshops and managing Knowledge transfer for internal Payroll team.
Ability to manage stakeholders effectively and lead through ambiguity and change.
Strong knowledge of relevant labor laws and collective agreements is considered an asset.
