Position Type : Term from January 2026 to August 2026 (Full time - 8-month Term)

Location : Saint John

Salary Range : $33.85 to $47.70 per hour. Successful candidates may be eligible for a higher maximum step up to $52.08 per hour based on their level of post-secondary education.

What youll do

Responsibilities

You will be collaborating with and reporting to the Academic Chair- Allied Health School of Health and Wellness as a member of the faculty team you are responsible for planning and preparing instructional materials and resources; establishing and managing a positive learning environment; instructing and evaluating students; building and sustaining professional relationships with students colleagues community partners and stakeholders; as well as other related duties.

Specific instructional area includes :

• Being a nurse mentor who will provide clinical supervision and guidance to Internationally Educated Nurses (IENs) completing 600 hours of employer-led clinical practice in long-term care facilities as approved by NANB.
• Overseeing cohorts of approximately 6-8 students ensuring adherence to NANBs assessment rubric and supporting students in meeting competency requirements.
• Coordinating clinical and student schedule with partner nursing home managing schedules monitoring progress and evaluating performance.
• On-site supervision and limited off-site preparation with initial weeks dedicated to establishing logistics with facilities and students.
• Assisting in the clinical preparation of candidates who will be writing the NCLEX national exam and who will be applying for registration in New Brunswick.
