SharePoint Analyst – Intermediate

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled SharePoint Analyst to support enterprise content management (ECM) initiatives, focusing on content transfers between systems such as SharePoint, OpenText Content Server, Documentum, and shared drives. The role requires managing multiple simultaneous transfers, ensuring compliance with corporate and departmental policies, maintaining data integrity, and coordinating with stakeholders across business and technical teams.

This position requires strong technical expertise in SharePoint, scripting, and Windows OS concepts, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities

Perform content transfers between ECM systems and shared drives, ensuring file integrity and secure handling.

Plan, coordinate, and execute transfer activities with delivery teams, business partners, and technical staff.

Participate in backlog creation, prioritize work, estimate effort, and commit to timelines.

Develop and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and training materials.

Advise business partners on technical aspects of ECM solutions and transfer processes.

Create and execute scripts, workflows, and supporting tools for migrations.

Map, transform, load, and test content during migrations.

Follow IT policies, change management procedures, and departmental standards throughout transfers.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of Windows command line, batch scripting, and file / permissions management.
