Audio Visual Draftsman Technologist

Job Description

Our federal Government client is seeking a Audio Visual Draftsman Technologist to complete the client's Infrastructure construction project AV designs, produce AV architectural drawings 1 dimension, 2 dimension and 3 dimension, (1D, 2D, and 3D), produce engineering AV drawings(1D, 2D, and 3D), prepare technical reports, maintain/Edit project artifact, and maintain Data base record. This is an on-site 1-year contract in Ottawa.Tasks (including but not limited to)

• Provides architectural and engineering computer-aided design/drafting (CADD) (1D, 2D, and 3D) services;
• Prepares drawings related to site representation (1D, 2D, and 3D);
• Prepares drawings related to site construction design and specifications (1D, 2D, and 3D);
• Provide project support for an engineering organization for IT projects;
• Identify project requirements and collect data and information. Verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing Engineering drawings;
• Overseeing, organizing and maintaining records; reviewing and evaluating trends in the field of drafting;
• Production of plans, drawings and layouts taking into consideration the client's provincial and municipal construction standards; and overseeing the development of special maps and floor plans;

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
• Secret clearance
• Fluent in English
