Patient Transfer Attendant - Niagara & Hamilton

Voyago is hiring a Full-Time Patient Transfer Attendant for our Niagara & Hamilton Regions!

Your Role

• You are responsible for the safe transport of patients via stretcher/wheelchair to/from a healthcare facility, nursing home, or private residence
• You can provide outstanding customer service
• You have excellent communication skills

Requirements

Your Profile

You must possess the following qualifications:

• Your valid First Responder Certification OR Advanced Emergency Medical Care Assistant Certification is preferred OR are working towards a Paramedic Diploma (must be finished year 1) OR are a Fire Fighter with Emergency Medical Responder Certification *We schedule free training for First Responder certification *with 6 month employment commitment
• You have Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent
• You possess a valid G class driving license
• You have the ability to lift 250+ lbs. using a stretcher or stair chair with partner
• You can effectively communicate in both verbal and written English
• You are a safe driver with a clean driving record
• You can obtain a clean criminal record search and/or vulnerable sector screening
• You have up to date immunization records and can provide the following records of: MMR, DPT, Polio, Varicella, Hepatitis B, COVID-19 (2 doses), *TB Skin Test (Step 1) *must be valid within last 12 months
• You are available for 12-hour day shifts, Tuesday-Friday
• You are comfortable working a flex schedule pending call volumes
