What is the opportunity?
RBC is hiring a Treasury Solutions Associate role for our Calgary based Global Payments Solutions (GPS) Sales team. This role supports Treasury Solutions Specialists with their portfolio of strategic high value clients.
The GPS Sales team is accountable for delivering the full suite of cash management solutions and provide a gateway for all RBC products and services.
This role will support the GPS Sales team with pricing analysis and enrolment, client billing analysis and account planning that grow relationships, enhance loyalty and drive innovation with our clients.
What will you do?
Supports GPS Sales team in achieving strategic business priorities of revenue growth, enhancing client loyalty and driving innovation with Emerald clients.
Assist in the coordination, support and completion of relationship and operational reviews for Emerald clients (formal and informal) through analyzing and organizing client profiles and data to identify opportunities and execute sales strategies
Ensure an exceptional client experience, retain accounts and grow Cash Management, Deposit and RBC revenue through assisting with sales activities such as preparing onboarding forms for new services, pipeline entries and preparing deposit interest contracts
Assist in the Request for Proposal (RFP) management process and successful closing of new opportunities that respond to client needs or that protect current clients from competitive threats
Complete all sales activity documentation to support implementation as well as provide a record for performance tracking and supporting future sales efforts
Ensure all completed sales and prospecting activity documentation is appropriately completed, approved and stored to provide performance tracking, targeted future sales efforts and compliance with sales and transactional suitability guidelines and requirements
Provide support for operational / transactional risk working appropriately with Partners / Business Risk / GBSC (includes CBAs, BAA's, account documentation, etc.)
Identify and escalate potential client / product risk concerns and take appropriate action to improve / ensure risk position is regularized
Support development, direction and delivery of strategic initiatives through assigned projects
What do you need to succeed?
Must have
Knowledge of the RBC Cash Management Products and emerging industry trends
Demonstrated development of an excellent client advice / service experience
Strong MS Office skills, specifically Excel, PowerPoint
Strong organizational, time management capabilities, status reporting, and project management. Find solutions to problems and work with minimum supervision and full accountability
Ability to match client needs with product / structure solutions
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including exacting attention to detail related to customized contract documentation
Ability to prioritize in managing multiple and sometimes conflicting time demands
Nice to have
Extensive experience working in a team atmosphere
Previous project management experience
3+ years banking, Cash Management experience
Sales and relationship acumen
