Linehaul Driver – Pickup & Delivery

Shift : 40 hours / week – Float schedule – requires flexibility for various shifts

Starting Pay Rate : $37.90 / hour

Description

The Linehaul Driver, Pickup & Delivery drives to / from customer locations and safely operates company vehicles (tractor‑trailer, 5‑ton, shunt truck, etc.) and material handling equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.) to pick up and deliver freight to / from customer locations and meet service level agreements. Job requires working in shifts.

Responsibilities

• Drive to / from customer locations and safely operate company vehicles and material handling equipment to pick up and deliver freight.
• Resolve problems as they arise while on the road in collaboration with Dispatch.
• Pick up, deliver, and load / unload freight at customer locations.
• Scan freight upon pickup and delivery.
• Conduct vehicle inspections (tractor – 20‑minute pre‑trip, 15‑minute post‑trip; trailer – 15‑minute pre‑trip per trailer).
