Job descriptionSocial Worker - Northern Quebec (Youth Protection Services - Hudson Region)Location: Assigned Northern Community (full logistical support provided)Employment Type: Full-time (fixed-term or renewable contract)Salary: To be discussed - based on experience and established pay scalesEmployer: L'Alliée-ÉducationAbout UsL'Alliée-Éducation is a multidisciplinary clinic offering specialized services in education, psychosocial intervention, and personalized support.We collaborate with various governmental and community partners, including through mandates entrusted by the Youth Protection Directorate (DPJ).We are currently seeking a Social Worker for a field assignment in Northern Quebec, in partnership with the Hudson Youth Protection Services (DPJ), to carry out youth protection, assessment, and intervention duties in a child welfare context.Main ResponsibilitiesReceive and analyze case transfers in accordance with the Youth Protection Act (LPJ).Conduct assessments of the child's and family's needs.Develop and implement individualized intervention plans (IPs).Apply protective measures in compliance with court orders or agreements.Maintain regular follow-ups with youth, families, and community partners.Participate in court hearings when required.Collaborate closely with local multidisciplinary teams and community resources.Prepare clinical reports and assessments as required by the CISSS de la Baie-James / DPJ Hudson.Profile SoughtMember in good standing of the OTSTCFQ (Ordre des travailleurs sociaux et des thérapeutes conjugaux et familiaux du Québec).Minimum relevant experience in youth protection or social work.Strong ability to adapt to remote or intercultural environments.Excellent clinical, writing, and organizational skills.Autonomy, professional rigor, and strong ethical standards.Proficiency in spoken and written French (bilingualism is an asset).Conditions and BenefitsTurnkey contract including accommodation, transportation, and daily per diem.Access to remote clinical supervision.Stimulating and rewarding clientele and work environment.Possibility of contract renewal depending on operational needs.Continuous administrative and clinical support from L'Alliée-Éducation.Type of EmploymentFull-timeFixed-term contract (duration based on DPJ mandate - renewable upon need)Work LocationNorthern Quebec regionAccommodation provided + full logistical support
