Overview

Web Solutions Developer at Canadian Credit Union Association (CCUA).

Base pay range : $76,800.00 / yr - $101,600.00 / yr.

Responsibilities

• Develop new customized IT solutions : plan, architect, implement, and deploy mission-critical IT solutions; collaborate with stakeholders and other software developers to design architecture for cloud, on-premise, and hybrid systems; provide consulting on architectural standards, principles, and best practices; identify implementation risks; assist with work breakdown and sprint planning in Azure DevOps; design, build, test, and deploy software; facilitate demos and discussions with the technical team and stakeholders; implement test plans and oversee User Acceptance Testing; deploy to end users.
• Maintain existing IT solutions : re-architect and modernize legacy systems; update and maintain the architecture library; triage enhancement requests and develop delivery schedules; design and execute communication plans to roll out changes; plan, implement, and deploy changes; follow up with end users for feedback.
• Support and troubleshooting : ensure overall viability and integrity of IT software solutions; fix reported environment / software issues in a timely manner; analyze issues and communicate solutions and timelines to stakeholders; create, test, and deploy solutions.
• Technical Subject Matter Expert : provide consulting on development and / or architectural standards; assist other departments with technology insights; ensure requirements are gathered and documented; ensure sound technology decisions with proper R&D; develop communication strategies and milestones; ensure project scope is respected.
• Evaluate and introduce new IT solutions : stay current with technical and market trends; research articles and whitepapers; set up and test in local development environments; engage with 3rd party vendors during vendor viability assessments.

Qualifications

Education University Degree in Computer Science or related discipline; development certification or relevant experience.

Experience 5+ years of software development experience; proficiency in ASP.NET MVC framework, C#, and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript); 2 years of Azure infrastructure experience; Preferred : SQL Server / T-SQL.

Qualifications, Certifications or Designations Expert knowledge of .NET platform; Advanced knowledge of Azure Cloud Computing; Preferred : Microsoft Certification; Preferred : Knowledge of IT Service Delivery Best Practices.

Working Conditions Remote-first with occasional office work; no significant physical effort; moderate audio / visual effort; etc.

Communication Internal : Exchange information and provide recommendations; External : Contractors, Customers provide information and guidance.

Target Start Date Monday, November 17th, 2025 (or earlier).

Position Details Full-time, Permanent.

Salary Range $76,800 - $101,600, based on a 35-hour work week; compensation commensurate with education / experience related to the position.

Location Remote-first, flexible work location with access to some offices.
