Adecco in partnership with our client is currently hiring a full-time detail-oriented Trade Deductions Analyst to join their Finance team in Markham, ON. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing deductions, resolving payment discrepancies, processing claims, and ensuring accurate and timely collections. This position requires strong experience in credit, deductions management, customer accounts, and AR operations, with excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities :
Analyze and process customer deductions-including post-audits-for small to moderate-size accounts.Run sales query validations and apply promotional-related deductions within internal systems.Perform collection calls to follow up on outstanding balances and unauthorized deductions.Investigate and process deductions related to short-paid invoices, including shortages, damages, pricing issues, and compliance fines.Engage with customers, brokers, carriers, warehouse teams, and internal stakeholders to resolve complex deduction issues.Research causes of refusals, overages, shortages, and damages to determine root-cause issues.File claims with carriers and ensure timely follow-up to resolution.Communicate with clients and brokers regarding outstanding or invalid deductions, ensuring proper documentation and recovery processes.Identify trends and recurring issues contributing to invalid deductions and recommend corrective actions.Drive process improvements aimed at minimizing administrative workload and reducing overall deduction volume.Qualifications :
Previous experience in Credit, Trade Deductions, or Accounts Receivable is required.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex issues clearly.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and resolve conflicts.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data analysis.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines.Proactive mindset with a positive, solution-focused attitude.Ability to adapt quickly to evolving business needs and processes.Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in CanadaWhy This Role Is Important :
