OR Nurse Fertility Procedures

End Date : March 3rd

Schedule : Monday to Friday 7 : 00 AM 3 : 00 PM

Location : Fertility Clinic Toronto

Additional Requirements : There may be a need to cover 12 weekends during this 5week period.

Job Description :

As an OR Nurse youll be part of a surgical team performing fertility procedures like IVF. You will deliver comprehensive care throughout the surgical process ensuring safety comfort and positive outcomes for patients.

Core Responsibilities :

  • Provide preop intraop and postop care for fertility procedures.
  • Administer medications perform venipuncture and manage patient care.
  • Educate patients and families about fertility treatments and aftercare.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and confidentiality standards.
  • Manage medical supplies and communicate with patients via phone / email.
  • Mentor and train nursing staff supporting team growth.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and assist with clinic research.
  • Provide crossfunctional support when needed stepping in for other nurses during leave.

Qualifications :

  • BScN required; CNO registration.
  • BCLS and ACLS certifications.
  • 35 years experience in a medical / surgical setting; fertility experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work well in a teambased patientcentered environment.
