Manager, Infrastructure (Contract 8-12 months)
The Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for the efficient operation of a highly available and scalable infrastructure including computer facilities, platforms, storage, network, security, telecommunications and the associated operations and support tools. This position is responsible for defining the overall infrastructure architecture in alignment with application plans and strategies. The position requires a visionary leader with sound knowledge of business management and a working knowledge of emerging infrastructure technologies and best practices.
- Contract will be from approximately November 2024 till June 2025
Responsibilities
Lead all aspects of Infrastructure Operations, working closely with peers in the Application Development function to ensure there is a proper alignment of all technology across the business unitsDevelop, maintain, support, and optimize key functional areas, particularly network infrastructure, server infrastructure, and telecommunications systemsMaintain proper security for all relevant systems and lead the efforts to discover, design, and implement information security policies and procedures, and communicate and document them for the benefit of the organizationManage incidents to minimize business impact and protect corporate IT assets, including intellectual property, regulated data and the company’s reputationManage vendors and internal staff to deliver enterprise class operational efficiency and service deliveryEnsure compliance with enterprise technology standards, governance processes, and performance metrics to ensure IT delivers value to the enterpriseRequired Skills & Experience
Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and listening communication skillsProven ability to provide knowledge transfer to other technical team membersAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong organization skillsUnderstanding of ITIL FrameworksExperience with Business Continuity procedures, Service Level Agreement Management, Colocation Center Management, Audit Standards, Database Management, and Asset Management (Hardware & Software lifecycle, Load Usage reporting, Data Center efficiency) preferredRequired Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in related IT field requiredMinimum 5 years of experience leading Infrastructure, Network, and Information Security personnelPrior supervisory experience
