A-1 Doors & Mouldings Ltd., located at 12625 80th Avenue, Surrey, B.C., V3W 3A6, has an immediate vacancy for a Carpenter.

Position Details

Job Location : 12625 80th Avenue, Surrey, B.C., V3W 3A6

Term of employment : Full-time, permanent position, 30-40 hours per week.

Compensation : $36.60 / hour. Overtime at the rate of 1.5 times after 8 hrs per day / 40 hrs per week.

Benefits

Extended health benefits after three months of continuous employment.
WCB Coverage with 4% vacation pay

Job Duties

Read & interpret drawings & sketches to determine specifications

Estimate height, width, length, & other proportions

Measure, cut, shape, & assemble wood materials using woodworking machines, power tools, and hand tools

Build exterior frames, interior frames, pocket frames, custom doors

Assemble glass doors, main entry doors, interior doors

Install hardware such as hinges, handles, locks, roller catcher, etc. using hand tools and power tools

Repair doors & replace panels of doors.

Requirements

Education : Completion of Secondary School

Experience : Minimum of 2-3 years of experience

Language : English
