Partner with corporate team in the development of Environment and Regulatory Affairs policies and programs and align with various other company projects across Canada / USADevelop short, mid, and long-term environmental plansContribute to the environmental approvals and permitting programs for the project siteSupport risk assessments for site critical infrastructure (waste storage facilities & water management)Manage site environmental compliance, reporting and statutory investigationsContribute to the company's ESG reporting programTechnical support to Community Relations & Projects teamsEnvironmental committee meetingsMust haves : Bachelor's degree or higher in related discipline8+ Years Environmental management in mining operations / regulatory affairsKnowledgeable in environmental regulations, monitoring, sampling, and related documentationWide breadth of experience in environment management in the mining industry, such as environmental management systems, regulatory approvals, water quality management, air quality management, mine waste management, biodiversity, ecological or human health risk assessments, noise, and closure / reclamation.
Knowledgeable in Ontario and federal legislations and regulationsAnalytical thinking and problem solving skills
