The OpportunityMosaic is seeking an Information Technology (IT) Summer Student for the 2026 summer work term from May 4 to August 28 to work out of our Nanaimo office on Vancouver Island, British Columbia.

Bring your passion and we will provide the training and experiences. Successful candidates will share their existing knowledge with Mosaic Forest Management staff while gaining valuable on-the-job experience in information technology supplemented by coaching from experienced mentors.

What We’re Seeking:

• Completed 1+ year(s) of study and currently enrolled in a computer/IT related discipline (diploma or degree);
• Valid BC Class 5 Drivers License or equivalent;
• Experience supporting Windows Server & Desktop environments;
• Basic working knowledge of network protocols and technologies (i.e., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Static IP);
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word;
• Self-starter and confident working alone and on teams; and
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Compensation
The hourly pay range for this position is $23.75 to $27.00. Individual compensation is commensurate with skill, relevant experience, and education.
