Here’s what you’ll deliver:
- Communicate effectively by telephone and email with customers (both inbound and outbound communication).
- Schedule appointments.
- Answer inbound calls and respond to all customer inquiries and all web leads promptly and effectively follow up with clients and prospective clients by utilizing established dealership templates to communicate with customers by email and telephone.
- Utilize dealership call scripts for all inbound and outbound sales calls.
- Schedule, log, and confirm appointments with customers and achieve daily/weekly/monthly goals as established by the BDC Manager.
- Update the CRM with information regarding all verbal communication with customers.
- Enter information in the Appointment Log when an appointment is scheduled.
- Study products and services to continually enhance your ability to assist customers.
- Complete necessary certification tests.
- Study used vehicle inventory on a weekly basis.
- Learn pertinent dealership processes.
- Comply with any customer handling and marketing functions.
- Communicate with the BDC Manager and relate any potential customers issues or problems.
- Perform all outbound campaigns as periodically assigned by the BDC Manager.
- Perform marketing call campaigns as required and act as a backup to Greeters as required.
- Follow the policies and procedures of the BDC department and AutoPlanet Direct.
What you need to succeed:
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in the automotive service industry.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a valid OMVIC license or are willing to attain an OMVIC license.
- Must have a valid Ontario Driver's License and good driving record.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines.
- Minimum 1 year dealership licensing experience required.
- Strong computer & leadership skills.
- Must have the ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
- May be required to work on Saturday and Sunday as per business needs.
- Must be willing to be flexible with work schedules.

Job Type: Full Time - PermanentCompensation (expected annual compensation):$45,000 - $60,000 per year (base salary plus monthly performance-based bonuses). This range includes a fixed base salary and eligibility for monthly bonuses tied to individual results and/or department performance, which may be influenced by business volumes.
