Cooks are responsible for ensuring that our most important people, our Guests, have an excellent Boston Pizza experience from start to finish. Responsibilities

What does a successful Cook look like?

Experience

• Previous experience working as a cook, line cook, or kitchen assistant in a restaurant environment preferred.

• Experience preparing pizzas, pasta, and casual dining menu items is an asset.

• Familiarity with fast-paced kitchen operations is beneficial.

Skills and Competencies

• Ability to prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and quality standards.

• Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices.

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

• Good time management and organizational skills.

• Attention to detail to ensure food quality and presentation.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.

  Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs (11–23 kg) when required.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and hot kitchen environment.

Certifications

• Food Handler Certification.

Availability

Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
