Role Overview

The Software Validation Specialist plays a key role in our Innovation and Sustainability Team, responsible for developing and executing comprehensive testing strategies to ensure industrial machinery control software—particularly for injection molding machines—meets both technical standards and end-user needs. Leveraging broad expertise across mechanical, electrical, software, and fluid power systems, this role ensures seamless system integration and defect-free performance that supports customer success.

Key Responsibilities

• Define validation criteria, execute test plans, and assess software compliance.
• Identify and address gaps in validation processes to improve quality and efficiency.
• Standardize testing procedures to reduce defects and testing time.
• Collaborate on design reviews and risk assessments to shape test strategies.
• Set up and execute tests, troubleshoot issues, and analyze results.
• Log software issues accurately and maintain complete validation records.
• Report findings through clear documentation and presentations.
• Ensure software meets Husky quality standards and customer expectations.
• Support resolution of major service issues and contribute to software architecture.
• Incorporate real-world feedback to continuously refine product performance.
