Lawyer – Environmental Law

Position Overview

Our client, a national law firm, is currently seeking a lawyer with 3 to 8 years of relevant experience in environmental law to join a dynamic team that provides strategic business advice to a Canadian and international client base across a wide range of industries.

In this role, you will be involved in high-profile mandates and work closely with clients to advise them on environmental issues related to their operations. You will be called upon to act in matters involving regulatory compliance, environmental permits and authorizations, as well as transactional and litigation matters.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on the environmental impact of their activities and their regulatory obligations
• Participate in environmental due diligence in the context of transactions
• Draft and negotiate agreements involving environmental issues
• Provide legal support in environmental litigation matters
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on mandates with national and international scope
