Your Opportunity
In this position you will have the opportunity to work our Water team as an intern for a 4-month term. This is a great opportunity for a motivated, energetic individual who wants to challenge their abilities in a dynamic work environment.
Your Key Responsibilities
Works closely with the project team to maintain a current and accurate understanding of project status, issues and changes.
Assisting technical staff with various project tasks including researching, compiling, and evaluating project data, preparing reports, and performing calculations for water and wastewater treatment projects.
Provides support to project management and team members to adhere to client standards, Stantec required procedures, and document management.
With guidance, assists with the preparation of high quality, accurate and timely documents such as : reports, minutes, submittals and comments tracking, as well as other required documentation.
Follows record retention policies.
With guidance, coordinate, organize, schedule, and facilitate meetings and workshops.
Records, composes, and distributes meeting minutes.
Provides general team support / office support functions as required.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and assignments.
Good written and verbal communications.
Good analytical skills
Must be detail-oriented, and resourceful.
Must have good interpersonal skills.
Must be able to successfully work both collaboratively and independently.
Experience with MS Office including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access.
Education and Experience
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.

Pay Range :
Pay Transparency : In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
