Established in 1976 the Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies (SIIT) is a First Nation governed post-secondary institution. Recognized under provincial legislation, the Institute has been conferred authority to grant certificates and diplomas. As an instructor in Adult Basic Education (ABE), you will provide instruction of 8 courses in the Adult 12 program. This position includes the following accountabilities :
Required Qualifications and Experience : A Bachelor of Education from an accredited institution. Must possess a Saskatchewan teaching certificate or be eligible to obtain one. An understanding of adult learning theories and principals is considered an asset. Knowledge of First Nations cultures and organizations is considered an asset.
