Cyber Security Engineer

TekRek has partnered with a well-funded growth stage firm based in Vancouver that has designed an AI enabled workflow automation platform.
This company is scaling up their engineering function to meet growing product demand. They require a Cyber Security Engineer interested in the DevSecOps function.
Key Responsibilities :
- Integrate security practices into the DevOps pipeline.
- Conduct security risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Automate security testing and compliance checks within CI / CD processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create a cohesive DevSecOps strategy.
- Provide training on secure coding and security tools.
Qualifications :
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Security, or related fields.
- Strong background in secure software development and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proficiency with CI / CD tools and scripting languages.
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, etc.) are a plus.
