Ambipar Response Industrial Services is seeking a Controller. This position is responsible for the oversight of the day to day accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting. The Controller should have excellent knowledge and the ability to comprehend and complete full cycle accounting. This person will also streamline accounting processes, establish and maintain internal controls, assist in budgeting and forecasting, and be involved in projects as assigned by the CFO.
Responsibilities :
- Reconcile subcontractor accounts monthly
- Respond to internal & external audit requests
- Conduct account analysis / investigations / reviews
- Complete cheque runs for Accounts Payable
- Prepare financial forecasts along with monthly financial statements
- Government tax preparation, filing & remittances : GST / PST
- Assist with inventory counts
Qualifications and Competencies :
5+ years' experience as a senior-level accountantStrong working knowledge of detailed financial data analysisExemplary history of financial project managementWorking knowledge of federal, provincial, and local tax compliance regulations and reportingCPA or nearing completion highly preferredExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to organization and prioritize daily, weekly, monthly tasksDisplay good judgement and confidentialityExperience with Sage 100 Contractor / SAP would be considered an assetWhat we Offer :
