Director of Operations (DOO)

The Director of Operations (DOO) is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the dual‑branded Hilton Garden Inn and Home2 Suites by Hilton hotel by ensuring exceptional guest experience, efficient operations, and adherence to hotel brand standards and policies. This role encompasses managing Guest Services, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Food and Beverage, and some administrative / HR duties. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high operational and brand standards. The DOO reports directly to the VP Operations.

Requirements

• Diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in management of hotel operations, with a strong understanding of front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, purchasing, F&B, and HR functions.
• Hilton and GM Experience is an Asset.
• Knowledge in Hilton systems is an asset (PEP, Gro, etc.).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Base salary starting at $90,000 / year depending on relevant skills & experience.
