Our client is an innovative food technology company who engages in the business of developing unique patented breakthrough solutions to that produce more sustainable and and cost-effective cooking processes.

They are currently seeking a Head of Sales & Business Development, who will report directly to the CEO. This person will lead all North American sales efforts, while supporting or leading the broader international sales activities as needed.

The position requires that the right candidate is well versed in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry, has sold products into that market, and has excellent sales and business development skills.

This role is also responsible for developing and executing a clearly defined sales strategy in partnership with the CEO & Strategic Advisor in a manner that supports consistent business growth and enhances brand awareness.

The team is international, so this is a remote role that requires calls at non-standard work hours, as needed.

This positions offers a target base salary in the $120-160k range (based on skills and experience) plus bonus and benefits.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Monitor, analyze and reports on sales and marketing activity against company goals
  • Develops sales and marketing strategic business plans to drive revenue and increase market share
  • Manage the vision and strategy and provide purpose, motivation, and direction to the QSR sales team as it grows
  • Assess market potential and identifies new business opportunities and synergies
  • Execute best practices in sales and marketing standards Develop and maintain the overall revenue growth plan and model ensuring scalability
  • Implement national revenue generating strategic initiatives while ensuring accuracy of sales forecasting, maintain key customer relationships;

develop and implement strategies for expanding the Company's customer base

Key Qualifications :

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the QSR industry
  • Expertise in sales and business development, particularly within the QSR industry
  • Four-year degree or equivalent work experience in the industry required
  • Experience accurately forecasting short-term & long-term sales
  • Demonstrated the ability to work with a diverse set of businesses
