HEALTHCARE BUSINESS ANALYST Montreal (Hybrid) 2025-04-17

Overview

We are looking for a healthcare business analyst to join our team of consultants in the Montreal office. This position is in hybrid mode.

Responsibilities

• Develop functional expertise in areas including Patient Appointment Booking, with configuration of booking slots, resource requirements, provider schedules, and related front-end workflows (cancel, rebook, book series, group appointments).
• Design and document appointment data requirements and reporting needs for appointments.
• Work on Procedure and Medication Order flows, primarily in a hospital environment, and including clinic and outpatient orders.
• Document workflows and order fulfillment, including normal and exceptional cases.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Healthcare and Healthcare IT (not Insurance).
• Prior experience as a business analyst, clinical informaticist or system analyst.
• Working knowledge of techniques to document business requirements (User Stories, Use Cases, Sequence Diagrams, etc.).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand regulatory documents and translate to business requirements.
• Attention to detail balanced with business realities.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Knowledge and awareness of Canadian healthcare.
• Bi-lingual English / French is a plus.
