We are poised to meet the nation’s defense, energy and environmental demands through an array of management, operational and technical services.

We are seeking a seasoned Nuclear Projects Director (Construction) to lead major construction initiatives valued up to $1 billion.  This position is assigned to the BWXT-led Nuclear Laboratories Partners of Canada (NLPC) contract overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale construction projects, This position leads a team of project manager, project engineers, project controls, and project assistants. The role requires exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and management skills to ensure the successful completion of projects within budget, scope, and schedule.

Job Qualifications / Requirements :

• A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, business administration, or other relevant discipline is required.
• A minimum of 20 years of related experience is required.
• Extensive experience in construction management, specifically in leading large-scale commercial projects exceeding $500 million is highly desired or preferred.
• Deep understanding of construction laws, codes, and regulations.
• Proven track record of successful project delivery delivering projects on time and within budget.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a Canadian security clearance is required.
• Certification by the Project Management Institute in project management or program management is preferred.
• Must live in or be willing to relocate to near the Chalk River Site. No remote work is permitted.

The base salary range for this position in Ontario (CA-ON) at the start of employment is expected to be between $N / A and $N / A per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and / or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment.
