Your role :
As the Financial Analyst - Analytics and Systems, you will be accountable for reporting, updating and presenting operational expenses, developing product profitability tools, consolidating Capital forecast and rolling out new finance technology. In addition, you will be responsible for budgeting, processing and forecasting our Systems and Technology expenses. This is a Hybrid role – 2 in office days per week.
What You Will Be Doing :
- Collaborate with budget owners to develop budgets for all non-factory operations.
- Collect forecasts and analyze actual cost data versus budget and report on trends and variances.
- Communicate and collaborate with departmental leaders to stay abreast of spending, budgeting, reports, and evaluation.
- Consolidate capital requirements
- Support Consolidation of Long-Range Planning
- Manage Finance Internal and external Sharepoint sites to enable associates to improve decision making.
- Allocation of Corporate Overheads across the divisions and product costs
- Support reporting tool development across the organization
- Prepare reports and evaluations for individual projects.
- Will be responsible for preparing required government submissions. Develop and maintain effective relationships with municipal, state / provincial, and federal government agencies.
- Investigate variances in budgets, reporting, internal controls, and general accounting; deploy measures to resolve variances.
- Provide support as required on projects from an operational, financial and resource standpoint.
Requirements :
University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Data AnalyticsFinancial experience in the manufacturing industry would be considered an asset.Plans to pursue CPA or similar designation would be considered an asset.Passion for leveraging technology in system development and process optimization.High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity suite.Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills.Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.High level of integrity, confidentially, and accountability.Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.Ability to respond appropriately in pressure situations with a calm and steady demeanour.Excellent teamwork and team building skills.Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently with minimum supervision.Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.If this job sounds like it was made for you, we’d like to meet you.
