Senior Structural Engineer

This opportunity is with an international multidiscipline engineering firm. They are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer who will collaborate with members of the engineering team to develop innovative engineering design solutions that align with the context, budget, and aesthetic requirements of building projects. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to analyze and interpret design intent to deliver efficient and effective technical design solutions. They will collaborate closely with other professional disciplines, ensuring seamless coordination throughout all project phases, leveraging their expertise in building engineering systems, materials, codes, and construction technologies.

Logistics : Remote Position

Salary : $115 000 to $130 000

Here’s what you’ll be doing :

• Designing various components of building structures, integrating architectural design while adhering to relevant codes and jurisdictional requirements.
• Assessing engineering design requirements and producing detailed drawings to support construction projects.
• Conducting engineering tasks such as calculations, code research, material and building systems research, component layout, and area calculations.
• Evaluating existing conditions and conducting construction reviews to document new conditions accurately.
• Synthesizing and coordinating technical information to develop engineering specifications for Project Manuals.
• Review project products, services, and shop drawings to ensure compliance with project documents, applicable codes, and corporate quality controls
