Make an impact within our Indigenous Services team as a Manager, Education Consulting. This diverse team of professionals are dedicated to exceeding clients’ unique needs within a rapidly evolving business and financial reporting landscape. MNP is a leading national accounting, tax and business consulting firm for Indigenous Nations, businesses, and entrepreneurs in Canada. With more than 250 Indigenous clients and 500 team members dedicated to this sector, no other firm has invested as much time and resources into serving the unique needs of Indigenous communities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the dynamic planning and delivery of consulting engagements focused on educational initiatives within Indigenous communities, Indigenous education authorities and enterprises
  • Guide teams to deliver diverse education consulting services, including strategic and operational planning, feasibility studies, and financial analysis
  • Identify innovative ways to add value to educational consulting projects, ensuring client needs are met and fostering strong relationships
  • Contribute your expertise to client interactions, technical reports, and management presentations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality deliverables
  • Apply specialized knowledge to maintain quality control, anticipate and address issues relevant to the client’s education needs
  • Build connections within the Indigenous community, identifying business development opportunities and preparing compelling proposals to address client requirements.
  • Mentor, motivate and inspire team members through clear guidance, constructive feedback, and impactful performance reviews to support their professional and personal growth
  • Be adaptable to travel and engage with clients in-person as needed

Skills and Experience

  • Six to seven years of experience in an education setting with a preference for experience working with Indigenous organizations, communities, or in government
  • Experience working in a consulting space with demonstrated project management skills an asset
  • Bachelor’s degree in education, public administration, political science, social sciences or related field considered an asset
  • Related certifications are advantageous
  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills with diverse audiences
  • Proven ability in people management, relationship building, and leadership
