Role Description

This is a part-time, contract position based in Georgetown, ON , for a Pediatric Speech‑Language Pathologist , with the opportunity to gradually increase caseload at your own pace .

The successful candidate will provide speech and language therapy services to children using play-based, relationship-first, and evidence‑informed approaches within a supportive and collaborative environment. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, monitoring progress, and collaborating closely with families and, when appropriate, educators and other professionals.

Therapy is delivered across naturalistic and structured contexts, with an emphasis on real‑world communication, regulation, and meaningful participation . Clinicians are supported by clear systems, experienced leadership, and flexibility that respects professional autonomy and work‑life balance.

Qualifications

• Registration and good standing as a Speech‑Language Pathologist CALSPO (or eligibility for registration)
• Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology or a related field
• Experience or strong interest in pediatric speech and language intervention
• Knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders in children
• Experience with or openness to play‑based and evidence‑informed therapeutic approaches
• Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with families and interdisciplinary teams
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Experience working with neurodivergent children and within creative or child‑led therapy models is considered an asset
