Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide insightful business and financial information to internal business partners on the Bell partnership program. This involves working with the Manager and Director to develop a reconciliation process, reconciling datasets, resolving variances with carriers and operations, and reporting on program profitability.

• Prepare reconciliations for commissions, receivables and payables based on the cadence of available reporting from partner
• Prepare month‑end journal entries
• Review reconciliations and month‑end journal entries prepared by analysts as required
• Investigate and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to validate and resolve unreconciled differences
• Collaborate with IT and Business Operations teams to assist with system implementation, process improvement and issue resolution
• Work closely with Business Operations and other finance teams as a trusted business partner to develop reporting on KPIs, EBITDA and profitability measures for the program
• Cultivate a continuous‑improvement mindset within the finance team
• Other projects and ad‑hoc requests as required

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent in accounting, business, finance or a related field
• CPA designation required
• Resourceful and strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal skills to liaise with members of the finance team, IT and the business
• Strong attention to detail
• Independent while collaborative and a strong team player
• Takes ownership and initiative
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing
• Results oriented and able to work under tight deadlines, and manage competing priorities
• Ability to work with a positive attitude and in a professional manner
• Enjoy working in a fast‑paced, changing environment
• Minimum 3 years of progressive accounting or finance experience
• Experience with revenue assurance, or revenue and profitability analytics
• Experience in the telecom or software industries is an asset
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
• ERP Oracle experience is an asset
