In this role you will…

  • Provide technical leadership and integration across various CMC products within the R&D Digital Tech.
  • Line management and mentorship up to 10 GSK software engineers guiding their professional growth and skill development.
  • Oversee up to 30 third-party engineering contractors, ensuring effective collaboration and project alignment.
  • Partner with other GSK Digital Tech teams, product owners, GSK business teams, vendors and strategic partners to deliver value continuously, fostering and maintaining close links with customers.
  • Champion DevSecOps, Agile, and modern software engineering practices, ensuring the implementation of these methodologies to optimize project delivery and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.

Why you?

Basic Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in leading tech teams and shaping tech strategy.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills with effective stakeholder management.
  • In-depth knowledge of modern software engineering with hands-on experience in full-stack development (ideally, .net, JavaScript, SQL, python) and a solid grasp of CI / CD practices.
  • Working knowledge of Azure cloud services and infrastructure.
  • Solid experience with Agile and DevSecOps principles.
  • Proven ability in API design and integration of COTS applications
  • Preferred qualifications :

  • Experience in working in regulated environments.
  • Experience in building AI-powered solutions.
  • Experience with data pipelines and tools like Azure Data Factory (ADF).
  • Experience with data visualization and PowerBI.
  • Experience in building application with low code platform such as Mendix.
