Straight shifts : 3 : 30 pm - 12 : 00 pm (Monday - Friday)

Responsibilities

• You will be working with different metal / steel products, moving, taping, arranging, labelling, lifting
• Materials handling (unloading, breakdown / dismantle, transfer) of metal / powder coated products quickly, safely and securely
• Maintain high standards of security, health and safety processes at all times to avoid accidents or injuries
• Supporting machine operators and team leads on different general tasks
• Tapping, measuring, painting, coating multiple metal / steel products
• Sorting and grading of various materials
• Individual quality control / Preparing and packaging materials

Qualifications

• Jobs may require frequent lifting / bending, squatting and prolonged standing
• Prior General Labour or Manufacturing experience
• Must be able to sustain constant physical activity levels
• Must have steel toed safety boots
• Experience using basic power tools / machine operation
• Comfortable working on a HOT ENVIRONMENT
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. / 23 kg at a time comfortably
• Requires some problem solving, good attention to detail, manual dexterity and hand to eye coordination
• Punctual and a strong focus on Safety
• Works well in a team , accountability and dependability
• Ability to pick up quickly and follow assigned work instructions
