Job Description
As a valuable member of the Ford Performance Centre team, you will deliver exceptional service in a high-paced, high-volume environment.
You will work under the direction of the Head Chef and Sous Chef to assist in the preparation of various food products.
- Gather, wash, cut, season, cook, and store quality ingredients efficiently and effectively.
- Prepare and plate finished products for presentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with food safety and health standards.
- Ensure accurate storage of all food ingredients in their respective areas, using proper rotation.
- Handle and clean kitchen equipment carefully and safely to prevent damage or injury; return equipment to its designated area.
- Contribute positively to a team-focused environment.
- Work in compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
- Adhere to MLSE service standards and policies.
- Perform other kitchen duties as needed.
Qualifications

- Previous experience in food preparation is an asset, ideally with 3 years of experience in a full-service restaurant or banquet hall catering.
- Enrollment in culinary training or an equivalent program is an asset.
- Must be punctual, dependable, and flexible to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
