Yard and Inventory Coordinator

This role supports our Production Chemicals division by ensuring blended chemicals and related products are safely stored, accurately tracked, and efficiently shipped. Responsibilities include operating a loader, maintaining on‑site inventory, supporting sales staff with product coordination, and ensuring all materials are correctly labelled and compliant with TDG regulations.

A Day in the Life

• Load and unload incoming and outgoing deliveries using a loader in accordance with company policies, ISO 9001 procedures, and TDG requirements
• Maintain valid loader training / ticket and operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Conduct weekly inventory counts and manage inventory records using Microsoft Excel
• Maintain accurate inventory control in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment
• Assist with field deliveries as required
• Prepare materials for shipment, including stenciling, labeling, palletizing, shrink wrapping and banding
• Complete all assigned tasks accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner
• Use small hand tools and handling equipment safely
• Communicate effectively with the SECURE sales team and external vendors to support operational and inventory needs
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills to support day‑to‑day inventory movement
• Understand and comply with all safety, environmental requirements, and company policies
• Perform all work in accordance with established safety and environmental policies and procedures
• Actively contribute to initiatives that improve workplace safety and promote a healthy working environment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Be available for on‑call support during evenings and weekends to assist the Production Chemicals team
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Sales and Operations staff
