About the Role : We are seeking a dynamic individual to manage key commercial relationships across British Columbia and Alberta. This role involves meeting monthly sales targets, fostering strong customer relationships, executing marketing initiatives, and ensuring the delivery of the required sales growth in the region.
Responsibilities :
- Identifying and targeting new commercial clients in the flooring market.
- Developing and maintaining a pipeline of potential leads and opportunities.
- Reaching out to architects, designers, contractors, and business owners to introduce products and services.
- Building and nurturing long-term relationships with key clients, including commercial property owners, facility managers, and contractors.
- Acting as a point of contact for clients, addressing their needs, and offering tailored solutions.
- Ensuring high customer satisfaction through responsive communication and service.
- Conducting in-person meetings, presentations, and product demos to showcase flooring solutions.
- Understanding client requirements and offering product recommendations that fit their project needs and budget.
- Negotiating pricing, terms, and conditions with clients.
- Preparing and presenting quotes, contracts, and proposals.
- Staying informed about market trends, industry developments, and competitor offerings.
- Identifying and capitalizing on emerging opportunities in the commercial flooring market.
- Collaborating with project managers or installers to ensure smooth execution of flooring projects.
- Coordinating product delivery, installation schedules, and any post-sales support or follow-up.
- Tracking sales activities and maintaining accurate records in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Reporting on sales performance, goals, and forecasts to management.
- Addressing any post-sale issues such as product concerns, warranty claims, or service issues.
- Working with the customer and internal teams to resolve complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Representing the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote the brand and products.
- Keeping up to date with product knowledge and training to better advise clients on flooring options.
- Managing sales budgets, adhering to pricing guidelines, and ensuring profitability for the company.
Qualifications :
A BS / BA degree is preferred, but not required, along with 3-5 years of relevant commercial or B2B sales experienceProven track record of achieving results and a strong ability to learn quicklyAbility to work independently and manage your own scheduleExcellent verbal communication, relationship-building, leadership, negotiation and organizational skillsProficient with technology, including the use of computer-based tools and systemsStrong skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Looking for a rewarding opportunity where you can grow with a company that values innovation and creativity?
