On behalf of a distinguished land developer and builder dedicated to creating communities throughout Ontario, Adams Limitless is excited to present an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Planning & Development Manager . About the Role

As the Planning & Development Manager, you will oversee all aspects of 5-7 land and planning projects for low-rise residential development projects across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). You will play a pivotal role in steering projects through critical milestones, collaborating with municipalities, consultants, and cross-functional teams to bring visions to life.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead development projects from initial sub-division approvals to building permits and final registration.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with municipalities, approval bodies, and consultants.
  • Manage submissions and coordinate application processes, including Official Plan Amendments (OPA), Zoning By-law Amendments (ZBA), Site Plan Approvals (SPA), and building permits.
  • Conduct research to streamline project timelines and resolve challenges.
  • Attend and coordinate community meetings, land owner groups to represent and support development initiatives.

Requirements

  • Experience :  5+ years in residential plan of sub-division development experience
  • Education : A background in urban planning or architecture is strongly preferred.
  • Skills :

    Proven ability to lead and motivate consulting teams through complex, residential projects including land-owner groups.

  • Strong negotiation, mediation, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Broad knowledge of the planning act, OPA, ZBA, SPA experience in carrying projects through the entitlements process.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
