Guided by the values of the company, The Area Business Manager (ABM) Northeast Saskatchewan executes all commercial and business development activities in a set geography and predetermined budget. In this key role, the ABM is responsible for the development and management of sales, local operations, and new product introductions. This individual must be able to work independently in their activities yet interacts and collaborates effectively within a team environment. This role will coordinate with other Area Business Managers in the company as well with the Canadian Commercial Team on strategic and tactical approaches to optimize sales and profits.

Fundamental Areas of Focus :

  • Growth in both sales dollars and market share in the assigned area.
  • Sales calls to the key retail locations and regional distributors, identifying opportunities that drive demand for ADAMA Canada’s product line.
  • Keeps current on all market intelligence, including competitive activities, pricing and product uses to assure that the ADAMA Canada product line is competitive.
  • Participates in annual budgeting and product forecasting for the area of responsibility.
  • Provides service to customer and responds to questions regarding product application and performance.
  • Develops area business plans that translate the company vision into definable and measurable actions, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Represents the company in a positive, ethical and effective manner, assuring that ADAMA Canada’s presence in the area of responsibility is professional and in line with applicable policies and regulations.
  • Exhibits leadership in the function, displays self-confidence and motivation regarding key essentials of this job position.
  • Qualifications : Education and Experience : Degree or Diploma from an agriculture University or College program and a minimum 2 years of related agricultural experience.
