We are currently searching for a dynamic Corporate Financial Controller for our Global client near London, Ontario. The Senior Controller is a strategic financial leader responsible for overseeing all accounting operations while driving the organization's financial strategy and long-term objectives.

You play a critical role in shaping financial policy, driving operational excellence, and ensuring the integrity of financial reporting while partnering with executive leadership on key business decisions.
KEY RESPONSIBLITIES
- Provide strategic financial insights, analysis, and recommendations to inform critical business decisions and long-term planning
- Lead the development and implementation of financial models, forecasts, and scenario planning to support strategic initiatives
- Champion the transformation of financial operations through process optimization, automation, and best practice implementation
- Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of financial systems, ERP platforms, and technology solutions
- Standardize and streamline accounting practices across all business units, programs, and departments
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of financial operations
- Provide leadership oversight and coordination of Company accounting processes, financial reporting, compliance, internal controls, and budget management functions
- Drive operating discipline in tracking and analyzing monthly actual P / l, B / S and cash results vs forecast, risks and opportunities, gap closing processes
- Ensure Company accounting procedures conform with both Canadian and U.S generally accepted accounting principles and consistent with Company Accounting Policies
- Plan and direct the day-to-day activities of General Accounting, AP, AR and Costing
- Act as a key financial advisor for our Operations Team in cost accounting and financial planning processes, supporting development and delivery of company short and long-term objectives
- Report timely, completely and accurately all financial and accounting information including financial reports required by Company management and regulatory agencies
- Administer & monitor various transfer pricing relationships / reporting
- Coordinate reporting of statutory financial statements and act as Company representative for any financial and taxation audits, both internal / external
- Review agreements with vendors and ensure any accounting and reporting issues are properly identified, addressed and accounted for under accounting principles and company accounting policies
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation
- Develop talent through coaching, professional development opportunities, and succession planning
- Establish clear performance objectives and provide ongoing feedback to drive team success
- Collaborate effectively across departments, building strong partnerships with operational leaders
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred - CPA designation (CA, CMA, or CGA) is required10+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership roleDemonstrated ability to drive organizational change and navigate complexity while maintaining operational excellenceExpert-level knowledge of IFRS and / or GAAP, with proven ability to navigate complex accounting standards and technical issuesDeep understanding of regulatory compliance, audit processes, and internal control frameworksStrong capabilities in financial modeling, forecasting, and advanced analyticsExperience with system implementations and process automation initiativesDemonstrated success leading finance teams and managing complex financial operations in a dynamic environmentExperience with organizational growth, transformation, or change management initiativesSuperior analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail and accuracyExcellent communication and interpersonal skills working with different levels of managementTeam player who is able to influence others within the business and functional teamsProficient Excel, Power Point skills and experience working with ERP systems
