Job description

The Junior Developer will be responsible for the development of world class learning solution projects for all industries. The incumbent must be creative and interested in the latest trends in development and technologies. Attention to detail is a must in this position and you should be able to work with minimal supervision.ResponsibilitiesPrimary ResponsibilitiesCollaborate closely with a talented team of Developers, Learning Content Editors, Graphic Designers, and LMS Administrators to develop custom, cross platform learning solutionsWork with Designers to create responsive UI-UX architecture for use in advanced learner solutionsWork to create interactive activities such as click and displays, scenarios, simulations, etc.LMS Administration which involves uploading and testing on internal systems, creating user accounts for students / clients and delivering login informationUpdate and improve existing courses as requiredEnsure work meets all quality standardsPosition RequirementsRequires strong attention to detailTechnology Requirements : Moodle (additional training will be provided), VSCode, git, Azure, H5P, node.js, gulp, Microsoft Office SuiteProgramming Languages : HTML5, CSS3, JavaSscript, TypeScript, SASSAbility to take initiative in conducting job responsibilities, and work effectively in a team environmentEffective problem-solving and technical trouble-shooting skillsAbility to work individually in a goal-oriented environment is essentialAbility to schedule work and plan to meet deadlines is essentialAbility to communicate effectively and create great working relationships with all levels within the company and across multiple disciplinesQualificationsBachelor's degree in computer science, computer systems engineering, software engineering, or a related discipline; or completion of a college program in a relevant field.About University of FrederictonSince its establishment in 2005, the University of Fredericton (UFred) has aimed to provide innovative and adaptable online education.
