IT Support Analyst (Contract)

Our client is looking for an IT Support Analyst for an 8 month contract. You will evaluate, deploy and maintain the tools in the Software Development Lifecycle.

This is a very unique position with a company that provides great opportunity for career growth. You will work with Senior Architects and get some exposure to their migration to the cloud.

This is a hybrid position that requires you to be in the office 2 days per week, located steps from Union Station.

What You will Be Doing

• Support multiple development teams that have issues and questions related to SDLC tools
• Check logs, search vendor sites, and check SDLC support guides
• Liaise with the vendors to troubleshoot issues
• Upgrade existing SDLC tools
• Maintain systems and infrastructure
• Plan, execute and oversee the adoption of new tools
• Work closely with key Architects

Skills Required

• 5+ years of experience with system administration and / or supporting SDLC tools
• Experience with O / S administration (RedHat) and Infrastructure & Operations functions
• Experience with SDLC products and processes, e.g. version control tracking systems and how it interacts with defect tracking systems
• Knowledge of SCM tools like Gerrit and Artifactory
• Basic SQL knowledge i.e writing queries
