Job descriptionAssisting with emissions testing programs throughout North America Driving to and from work sites, including hauling and parking equipment trailers Preparation, packing, set up, testing and demobilizing for testing programs Calibrating and maintaining emissions sampling equipment Repairing emissions sampling equipment Operating sampling equipment Cleaning sampling equipment Delivering samples Data entry in Microsoft Excel Keeping vehicles, storage areas and lab areas clean and organized. A valid Class G driver’s license A valid passport, and ability to travel and work in the United States Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Ability to work at heights Ability to work in hot and cold ambient conditions Ability to work overtime Ability to perform heavy lifting (50 lbs.) Ability to travel on short notice Be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Position : Field Technician – Emissions Testing Group
Education : The ideal candidate should have an Environmental or Chemical degree or diploma. Other diplomas and degrees will be considered. Individuals with no post-secondary education will also be considered.
Experience : The ideal candidate will have experience in emissions testing using both Canadian and US EPA emission testing methodologies. Individuals with experience in the following are preferred :
- Working with air testing equipment and analyzers
- Working with electrical equipment
- Working with mechanical equipment
- Repairing electrical and mechanical equipment
- Experience with calibrating equipment
- Working in an outdoor environment
- Working independently
- Farming experience or background.
