JobDuties

Drywallinstallations : installsdrywalltocoverwalls,ceilings,soffits,shafts,andmovable partitionsinresidential,commercial,andindustrialbuildings,inclusiveoftape,fillandfinish readyforpaintapplication
Measuresandmarkscuttinglinesondrywall
Scribescuttinglinesondrywallandbreaksboardalongcutlines
Fitsandfastensboardintospecificpositiononwall
Cutsopeningsintoboardforelectricaloutlets,ventsorfixtures
Measures,cuts,assemblesandinstallsmetalframinganddecorativetrimforwindows, doorways,andvents.
Fits,aligns,andhangsdoorsandinstallshardwaresuchaslocksandkickplates
Readsworkorderorreceivesinstructionsfromsupervisor
Erectsscaffoldingorsetsupladderstoperformtasksabovegroundlevel
Willpracticegoodhousekeepingatalltimestoensureasafeandnon-clutteredworksite
Provideexcellentcustomerservice
Workundertimeconstraintstomeetspecifictimelines
Ensureattentiontodetailandkeensenseofsafeguardingotherpeople’spropertyand information

Qualifications

PostSecondarydrywallcourses / certification,and / or1+years’experienceindrywallinstallation

Construction / Restoration / Insuranceexperiencepreferred

Eligibletooperateamotorvehicleper BELFOR’s vehiclepolicy
