Quality Manager

Period: 4 months

Base Pay Range: CA$45.00/hr - CA$50.00/hr

Location: Saint-Maurice, Quebec, Canada

Responsibilities

• Maintain the plant's quality management system.
• Write the quality manual and ensure its compliance with industry standards and regulations, in line with RBQ expectations.
• Manage the non-quality measurement and recording processes (customer complaints and RNC).
• Oversee the implementation of countermeasures (corrective and preventive actions, Poka Yoke, etc.).
• Define the company's quality policy and objectives.
• Manage and train members of the quality department.
• Manage and train internal auditors and ensure the implementation of the plant's audit program.
• Oversee the definition of methodologies, tools, and indicators used to periodically evaluate and improve the quality system.
• Promote the company's quality culture both internally and with partners.
• Actively participate in the company's strategic planning regarding quality.

Requirements

• University degree in engineering, quality sciences, or a related field.
• Bilingual in English and French.
• At least 5 years of experience in quality management in a manufacturing environment, including 2 years of experience in quality management.
• Rigorous analysis of regulations and codes.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
