This role sits within Northpoint Commercial Finance, a subsidiary of Laurentian Bank.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in production of new business volume reports and monthly / quarterly account executive results;
  • Responsible for managing the daily treasury rate and internal cost of funds uploads for our sales team;
  • Analyze the information collected to ensure its quality and help explain and / or investigate discrepancies;
  • Participate in helping with ad-hoc requests for the FP&A team;
  • Performs any other related task requested by the Manager and team members;
  • The role will be primarily focus on FP&A while also assisting the accounting team as needed.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor degree in Finance (or related field);
  • Mastery of the Office suite (especially Excel);
  • Good learning ability;
  • Demonstrate curiosity and analytical skills;
  • Positive attitude, interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team;
  • Rigor and attention to detail;
  • Experience in the banking and / or financial sector will be considered an asset
