Appointment of Occasional Teachers in Long Term Assignments

This assignment shall be filled in accordance with Part A Article 17.3 of the current OECTA Elementary Collective Agreement wherein priority placement will be given to unplaced qualified redundant teacher applicants from the Elementary Teacher bargaining in order of the event the assignment remains unfilled qualified applications from the Occasional Roster will be considered.

Notwithstanding the above we encourage applications from all Ontario Certified Teacher applicants as well as education students holding or who have applied for a :

• Transitional Certificate of Qualification and Registration fromthe Ontario College of Teachers; or
• Multi-Session Transitional Certificate of Qualification and Registration from theOntario College of Teachers.
